This sacred and holy shrine temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, which generally remains submerged in the waters of the River Krishna. It is built at the confluence of the River Bhavanas and Krishna. The temple comes to the surface when the water decreases to an appropriate level. Visitors are brought in vessels as it remains surrounded by water. For only 40-50 days from April to May, Sangameswara Temple remains open for devotees to visit. Visiting hours for devotees are from 6 AM to 6 PM.

Located at a distance of 23.5 miles from Mydukur, this is the temple where Veerabrahmendra is worshipped. There is a festival that is celebrated twice annually at this temple.
